Un's gift

Before the Ungina people had been scattered, there was a great conundrum. The gods, who had been off having their many children and ruling their new fiefs, demanded their tribute and sacrifices. But the peoples of the seven planets had no idea of what the gods demanded. So Un went to the gods, she asked them to share their wishes for sacrifices. They replied they wished not to speak to the people. So she devised a plan. In her cunning she invented a system to communicate without speech. She wrote glyphs on a slab of clay, and taught the people of the seven worlds how to read it. And thus the people were saved from the potential fate of angry gods denied their sacrifices.
